Wonderful hotel located only a few minutes from Carmel wineries and beaches. The room was spacious and clean with a balcony view of the lagoon. Their restaurant and bar is great with attentive service and good food. I recommend the breakfast buffet for more options and to get your money’s worth. The beds are comfortable and they offer room service. I love the keyless option and check in from your phone for reward members as well as the smart tvs with the name on it to really make us feel welcome. I can’t wait to visit again
Yes, I know its not on the shoreline and in the center of downtown, but that's part of why I like it. The location gets you away from the crowd of tourists. The rooms are clean, the staff at the bar are wonderful, the food great and check was wonderful. If you're in a wheelchair the path into the hotel should be marked better. The Breakfast staff is wonderful. The food is great. I just ordered the Greek Yogurt Bowl and thought I was going to get a small parfait. But instead I got a display of delicious fresh food. Love this hotel.
I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay this past weekend. The location of the hotel was super convenient as I was able to get to restaurants and events in under 15 min of driving. Very nice. The front desk clerk Ranji was great and provided exceptional customer service, very informative. I even found myself hoping she was at the desk as I came down the hall. We frequent Monterey annually and look forward to a future visit. The room was spacious perfect for my family, close to both the pool and the parking lot. Thank you.
The Hilton Garden Inn was definitely up to Hilton standards! This place was centrally located with in 30 minutes if everything we were doing in our trip. The Hotel was quite and well kept! Very clean and respectful. The only issue with us, was parking! With a winter storm going on, there was not enough coverd parking. But other than that! We were happy with our stay!
I really loved my stay here. The hotel itself is very nice and updated. My room was great- no complaints other than the lighting in the bathroom was a bit dark. My dog was very comfortable staying here as well. The location was great- very close to all the spots we visited in Monterey and Carmel. Hotel is just right off the highway so you can easily hop on. If you have a dog walk them at the college campus next door! Great walking option and just a stones throw from the hotel.
Need to drive to the waterfront but it isn't far. Rooms are great. Decent gym. Had a decent laundry room. Good pool.. saw plenty in it during winter... Brr
My friend and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Monterey for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The concierge staff were very accommodating and helped us with a few minor issues during our stay. I especially want to highlight the breakfast team the cook, Arturo, and our server, Jose. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our mornings enjoyable. Originally the Hilton did not offer GF bread however the following morning they surprised us with fresh GF bread to enjoy with our breakfast. They even prepared freshly made meals tailored to our needs each day. Arturo and Jose also shared some great local recommendations that made our two week trip in America even more memorable. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel especially for the outstanding hospitality from the breakfast team!
This was our second time staying at this property and will definitely be returning. The front desk staff was kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was spacious which was helpful for our energetic toddler. Would highly recommend staying here
